Pupil Premium Grant allocations and Free School Meals

We would like to remind all parents and families that it is in their interests to register for their entitlement to Free School Meals and encourage them to do so as soon as possible. This is also true even if currently your child or children are in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 and already receiving Free Schools Meals. Children who are registered to receive Free School Meals benefit from access to additional services and reduced rates for some activities and trips. This begins in the year they are registered and does not end until they finish school here in Year 6.
For every child registered to receive Free School Meals, Ryelands will receive an additional sum of money to help support children in school, this is called the Pupil Premium Grant. We can use the money to provide additional services to support the learning of our most vulnerable children and also increase resources and opportunities for all children with an additional need who attend our school. In this section there are two reports showing how the money has been used over the last two academic years.

Parent Pay

We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting payments online for items such as dinner money, school trips, breakfast and after school club. Using a secure website called ParentPay you will be able to pay online using your credit or debit card. ParentPay will be our preferred method of making payments to school.
